Hi, I’m Tina! I am a sophomore majoring in Sustainable Design and minoring in Business at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
I began my artistic journey in high school, studying visual art and exploring different mediums as a way to understand both the world and myself. Art became a language through which I could process emotions and question systems around me.
Over time, my curiosity expanded beyond aesthetics. I became deeply interested in the meaning behind a art piece, like how design shapes behavior, influences well-being, and reflects cultural values. Exploring different disciplines and cultural contexts has helped me see design not just as creation, but as responsibility.
Today, I focus on human-centered design and well-being. I aspire to use my work or my own power to amplify marginalized voices and design with dignity, empathy, and impact. I want to turn art into impact, and into value.
